On a Dwight Yoakam-related note, Dwight Yoakam provided the voice for recurring King of the Hill character, Lane Pratley, in “Nine Pretty Darn Angry Men,” although later appearances were voiced by someone other than Dwight.

King of the Hill has featured many celebrity voices such as the late John Ritter, Trace Adkins, Johnny Knoxville, Tammy Wynette, Betty White, Charlie Daniels, and Reese Witherspoon just to name a few.

Tonight TMZ showed a clip of a cameraman meeting Joe Montana, former quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers football team, on the street. (If you didn’t know that, don’t feel bad, neither did Harvey.) Max is wearing a San Francisco 49ers t-shirt – perfect for the occassion… Enjoy!

My 60-something-year-old mother in rural Wisconsin wanted a Snuggie after seeing a commercial on cable (probably Lifetime). I didn’t want her to be taken advantage of by calling the 1-800 number from tv, so I told her I would go online and order one for her for her birthday.

I went to getsnuggie.com first, but really didn’t want to pay the $7.95 s&h fee on top of $19.99 for a blanket with sleeves!

I next tried searching for Snuggie on Amazon
and got results from Target… I discovered my local Super Target had Snuggies on the “As Seen on TV” end cap in the Housewares department near the kitchen utensils for $14.99 (+ tax)!

Shop locally, and you can get two Snuggies for the price of one!

If you are like my parents and the nearest Target is still 60 miles away, you are still better off ordering from Target.com or Amazon. Wal-mart does not appear to carry them at this time.

The blond guy from tmz is Max Hodges. According to his information on imdb, Hodges has only appeared on tmz, where he does a fine job I might add.

These pictures are screen captures of my favorite clip, entitled “Matthew McConaughey’s Latest Flop” where Hodges comments that McConaughey is running commando and therefore, “Walking the Dinosaur.” Boom boom acka lacka lacka boom…
